Tree Harvesting
Over the next couple of weeks contractors will be felling trees alongside Weld Road and Te Ara O Raho. From time to time they will need to use traffic control to allow the safe felling of some trees, so you will experience occasional delays when using those roads. Disruption will be kept to a minimum but please be patient.

Penny (Previously KiwiCamp) - OPEN
A Penny (previously KiwiCash) Facility is located in the main Freedom Camping area by the Arrival Centre, on Whataroa Road. Digital keys to access showers and cooking facilities can be purchased from Council Offices and other local retailers. Access to the public toilets is free. Please note that keys are not available at TECT Park and need to be purchased BEFORE arrival. Please see the Penny website for further information.
